Introduction:

DQE Solution's Dynamic Questionnaire Engine™ (DQE) Technology was originally developed in order to speed up, and to simplify the measurement of employee satisfaction.

Following numerous requests from customers, the product was further developed in order to provide a standalone solution for customers wanting to measure and monitor their own employees' satisfaction. The resulting product, the It's Your Company Questionnaire (IYCQ™) was then made generally available.

Since this time, products based on the DQE technology have been continually developed for both customised solutions, as well as solutions having a broader market appeal.

This section deals with these latter type of products, which have subsequently also been made generally available.

IYCQ™ - for measuring employee satisfaction:

Recognising that a company is only as good as its employees and that the success of a company is directly related to the motivation of its employees, it is essential for today's companies to measure and monitor employee satisfaction quickly, easily and cost-effectively.

The original DQE based product was developed in order to measure and monitor employee satisfaction. Similar to an employee opinion survey, the IYCQ assesses an employee's opinions to the company's approach towards the following four Key Business Areas (KBAs):

  • Management - how well is the management team performing its tasks?
  • Marketing - how well does the company position its products in its markets?
  • Resources - how efficiently does the company use tools in its business processes?
  • Technology - how well does the company embrace new technologies?

By running more than one IYCQ survey within a company, across disciplines such as sales, production or accounting for example, a benchmark of the results within the company can also be made.

The report generated from the results obtained from the IYCQ survey(s) allows any areas of concern within a company to be quickly identified and any corrective actions to be defined and implemented immediately.

IYSS™ - for measuring customer satisfaction:

With ISO's update of its ISO 9000 quality management system in December, 2000 it is now necessary for companies wishing to gain approval or continue to be approved to the ISO 9001:2000 specification to monitor their customer perception.

As such, many medium to large sized companies have been struggling to find a solution which enables them to measure customer satisfaction quickly and cost effectively.

Based upon this and following numerous customer requests, DQE Solutions has integrated its DQE technology into a new standalone product, which is internet based to simplify, speed up and reduce the costs of this whole process.

Called the It's Your Supplier Survey (IYSS™) this product for measuring customer satisfaction can be set up, the survey completed by customers and a customer satisfaction survey assessment ordered -all from within the programme- online.

The IYSS™ measures customers' satisfaction by assessing how customers perceive the company's activities in the following four Key Business Areas (KBAs):

  • Product Positioning - how well do the company's products meet customers' needs?
  • Customer Service - how is the relationship between the company and its customers?
  • Total Quality - how is the quality of the company and that of its products perceived?
  • Competitive Positioning - how well does the company perform versus competition?

As part of the The Gosling Group, DQE Solutions also offers the benefit of The Gosling Group's "No gain, No drain" policy. As such, the IYSS™ is a no risk product: you can set up your own company satisfaction survey on the internet and have your customers complete it, all free of charge. Therefore if the IYSS™ does not meet with your company expectations, you pay nothing.
